A self-proclaimed nerd at heart, I'm always up for a challenge. In my free time, I'm on a quest to master the beautiful and complex world of Japanese. Immersing myself in the written language, particularly the intricate Kanji characters, is a form of meditation for me. It allows me to completely relax and focus on the form and meaning of each word.
Figure skating has been a long-held dream of mine, and I recently took the plunge to finally pursue it. While mastering backward skating remains a work in progress (those wobbly ankles!), every session on the rink brings me immense joy. It allows me to push my physical limits, and explore a different kind of artistic outlet.
